- Swimmers may participate in 2 individual events + individual medley + both relays
- Swimmers may only swim in ONE age group
- If it is found that a swimmer has swum more than the stipulated races mentioned above or across age groups, the swimmer/s will not receive any points for races swum over and above the legal races.

A-League and B-League galas have been scheduled for Wednesday 4th March (A) and Thursday 5th March (B).
The following schools are swimming in the A-League, venue Rondebosch
- RBHS / SACS / WBHS / Springfield / Herschel / Rustenburg / St Cyprians / Milnerton / DF Malan / Stellenberg / Durbanville High / Elkanah / Fairmont / and Bishops (announced 10th Feb)
The following schools will be swimming the B-League Gala, venue Fish Hoek
- Fish Hoek / DSK / Jan van Riebeeck / Settlers / Herzlia / Curro Durbanville / Parklands / Bergvliet / (Reserve: Reddam Atlantic)
Please note this is the pinnacle of the seasons’ schools league galas in the Western Province. The above is based on the 2017 A-League and B-League gala results and last seasons’ normal league results.
Make every effort to attend, both Galas have a trophy to swim for. All A-League communication will go through Rudrich Claassen (RBHS) and B-League will go through Renee Vrahimis (Fish Hoek), the respective hosts.
