Su was a Springbok Captain, SA Record holder and double winner of the 100m Freestyle National Title.
Su has taught swimming and coached school sides in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. She has held several positions in Vineyard Club. She has a good understanding of the schools environment and the American college system.
Gary is a double Springbok having both swum for South Africa and played water polo for South Africa. He has coached, managed and built both water polo and swimming clubs in Gauteng (Old Eds) and Western Cape.
He has a deep understanding of the trends in international swimming and coaching.
Brendon joined Vineyard in 2009 and has been the Head Coach since 2010. Brendon began in 2001 as a learn-to-swim teacher for Missouri State Aquatics in the USA. Over the next five years he worked his way to becoming the Senior coach in 2005. Before joining Vineyard, Brendon was Head Coach of Sheridan Swim team in Illinois, USA.
As a swimmer Brendon was a multiple WP age group and open champion and record holder in multiple events. He finaled at Senior Nationals every year from 1997 to 2000. He swam on a scholarship for Missouri State University from 2000 to 2004.
Rhys started coaching at club level in 2010 at Aquanova Acuatics Club in East London. While there he was also the Eastern Cape Schools coach and Buffalo City Aquatics provincial coach and later coached at Vikings Aquatics Club. He moved to the Western Cape to pursue his teaching career and joined us in 2016.
Dylan is our resident coach at Sweet Valley: He coaches from Grade 1 – 7 as well as private Learn-To-Swim (By appointment)
Charl is an ETA-trained age group coach who has coached for many years and is passionate about the sport.
Ian is an experienced age group coach who has coached for many years, including time in the UK.
