SW 2.12 Desk Control (other than for Olympic Games and World Championships)
SW 2.12.1 The chief recorder is responsible for checking results from computer printouts or from results of times and placing in each event received from the referee.
The chief recorder shall witness the referee’s signing the results.
SW 2.12.2 The recorders shall control withdrawals after the heats or finals, enter results on official forms, list all new records established, and maintain scores where appropriate.

Wed 1st Dec: Change in Gala Format and Sessions
Dear CTA Clubs,
Unfortunately, Covid-19 has dealt our gala another blow.
Due to the rising Covid-19 numbers and the strict Covid-19 protocols of the University we have to adhere to, we have decided to split the prelim sessions and cancel the relays. We now have to take all measures to firstly protect our swimmers and our gala.
The SSA Covid compliance officer has also sent an urgent mail to tournament directors regarding covid numbers rising.
Clubs: We now have to redo all the official’s lists that we were about to send out. Please copy your official’s lists onto the attached REVISED sheet and send them to your district no later than 110h00 tomorrow, Thursday 2 December.
Please note ONLY officials who completed the Covid link will be used.
Please ONLY supply cell phone numbers for the Coaches & TM’s who want to be on the WhatsApp info group.
Revised session report attached, please take note of the session times.
Looking forward to a great gala and hope that the pandemic does not produce new challenges before we start.
