Cassidy is an up-and-coming junior South African swimmer who has won national age group titles in numerous events over the last two years. Through hard work and dedication, Cassidy has been selected to represent South Africa at the prestigious World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships in Netanya, Israel 4th to 9th September 2023.
This competition, known as Junior Worlds, exposes junior swimmers to the highest level of junior international swimming, which can be viewed as a stepping-stone to senior international events such as the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. This is an excellent opportunity for Cassidy to compete and race against the best junior swimmers in the world and pass on all of her learnings and experience to the next generation of junior swimmers in South Africa.
