Events and Details per Day


Note:
Each Meet shall be staged over three (3) days with heats in the morning session and all finals in the late afternoon/evening session. Upon closing of the sport entries, depending on the total number of entries, each morning heats session may be split into two sections with the fastest three (3) heats of each event being swum followed by the remaining heats in the section two. The format of the preliminaries’ sessions will to be announced during Technical Meeting.
Wherever possible, there shall be a minimum of five (5) hours between the end of the section one (fastest heats) and the start of the Finals. If possible, heats will be held using up to 10 lanes, with Finals held using 8 lanes. All events will be swum with heats and finals, except the 800m and 1500m freestyle, and 400m individual medley which will be staged as timed finals with the slowest heats(s) during the morning session and the fastest heat during the Finals session.
