Eligibility:
4.1. All competitors must be full-time learners at public, independent or LSEN schools registered with the Provincial Department of Education. According to SRSA rules, learners must be SA citizens or naturalized citizens.
4.2. Swimming South Africa has decided that the qualifying times for SA Schools must be set between SSA Level 2 and Level 3 times.
4.3. In order to be selected for the Provincial Schools’ team, athletes have to attend the official Provincial Schools trials or championships and adhere to all regulations set out by the Provincial Departments of Sport and Education. If a swimmer does not qualify at this event, he/she may attend a designated District or Provincial age group event administered under the auspices of the Provincial federation prior to the finalization of the selection process. The 40% transformation target will have to be adhered to.

Venue: Hillcrest pool, Pretoria
SA Schools will be taking place at Hillcrest pool in Pretoria. Please note that NTS is having their championships until the evening of the 8th December at Hillcrest. Therefore, we have booked LC de Villiers pool at Pretoria University (Tuks) for the 8th (day of arrival) and the morning of the 9th until 10:00, as Hillcrest will be closed for cleaning in the early morning. Heats will therefore start at 10:30 on day one & finals will start at 17:00.

Congratulations to all the swimmers who made the team. Please notify schools should there be any withdrawals. Deadline for withdrawals is Tues 22nd October at 19h00.
Team Management will be announced by Friday.
Please take note of Verification Schedule which is compulsory to attend at least 1 venue irrespective of the district the swimmer affiliates to.
