Dear CTA Clubs

Attached please find final set of reports for above mentioned meet.

Parking ONLY in the areas marked with a “X”.
NO PARKING on the field in front of the Aquatics Centre.
Clubs are welcome to setup their gazebos on the grass area on the left hand side of the Aquatics Centre.
1. Please note only 1 gazebo per club.
2. No spectators/parents will be allowed at the gazebos.
3. Please keep to the 1.5m social distance rule at all times.
4. Should a swimmer, coach or official exit the main entry doors of the Aquatics Centre – he/she will have to sanitize and check temperatures again before re entering the venue.
All officials, swimmers and coaches MUST have their masks on at all times, except for the following:
1. When eating or drinking
2. Swimmers – when approaching the starting blocks.
NO GAZEBOS on the field in front of the Aquatics Centre.

Although the new laws allow spectators at sporting events
CTA, for various reasons will NOT ALLOW ANY SPECTATORS at our indoor venues;
1. Generations Aquatics Centre is the biggest of our indoor venues
2. It’s capacity is 1000 pax
3. 50% of this is 500 pax
4. 500 pax inside this venue will unfortunately not allow us to adhere to the 1,5meter distance between patrons
5. Allowing spectators, will take away from our swimmers numbers
6. Failure to comply with the regulations, will be treated as an offence and is, on conviction, keeping us, Lucinda Koch (CTA Swimboard), Eric Ehrenreich (CTA Swimboard) & Nikki Smit (CTA compliance officer) liable to a fine or imprisonment or both.
ONLY swimmers, officials who’s names are on the lists and coaches will be allowed inside the venue.
