PROCEDURES UPON ENTERING THE MAIN GATE (please forward to all your members taking part at this meet)
When you approach the gate in your car, those swimmers/officials/coaches on the attendance and declaration sheets will be screened for temperature. Should any of the occupant in the vehicle’s temperature be above 37 degrees, the car with all passengers will be turned away to seek medical assistance or self-isolate for 14 days.
Those parents that are not on both the Attendance register & Covid screening/declaration documents, must please drop their swimmer/coach/official off at the main entrance and exit the school grounds immediately.
Officials & coaches to enter via the right hand side door at main entrance.
Swimmers to enter via the left hand side door at main entrance.
Swimmers will be allowed to bring along a small container/basket to place their hoodie or parka coat, flip flops and mask at starter blocks.
These containers will be sanitized when swimmer signs in at the entrance.
NO SWIMMING EQUIPMENT OR SWIMMING BAGS WILL BE ALLOWED. SHOULD YOU NOT HAVE A PLASTIC CONTAINER/BASKET, A PLASTIC BAG WILL BE HANDED TO THE SWIMMERS.
Swimmers must please wear their flip flops at all times except when getting ready to get on the starting blocks.
Container to be sanitized by the competitors steward before swimmers enters final line up.
NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED AT THE VENUE OR PRECINCT OF THE SCHOOL/SPORTS VENUE DURING THE MEET.
This means that no one will be allowed to sit and wait inside their parked car on school grounds.
This is a fantastic time to go and drink a coffee at one of the many coffee shop/restaurants in the Helderberg.
When you come back to fetch your swimmer/coach/official, you will again be screened for temperature before you may proceed to pick up your loved one.
We ask all swimmer/officials/coaches/parents to please be patient and also to understand that due to Covid it is our responsibility as CT AQUATICS to safeguard all our members against the pandemic by enforcing all these rules.
